Step by Step

This is a new experimental pilot project section where we will attempt to help amateurs with their upholstery projects step by step. One of the goals for this section is to end up with some step by step pictorial tutorials.In the future amateurs who need help with an upholstery project might be able to fill out an application for their to be used in this section. Only specific types of furniture would be considered, and owners would need to have specific skill levels would be considered. Participants would have to own or have ready access to a digital camera and know how to download the images to their computer etc.

Participants will have to do some studying and learning how to properly use the features of this website, beginning with these:

  1.  To learn how to enter text, go here Writing Messages and
    Articles on The Website Pages
    or here Basic Instructions for Entering
    Text in the Forums
    . They are basically the same page, except for a few
    minor differences.
  2. <!--[if !supportLists]-->
    <!--[endif]-->To Learn how to put pictures in your messages,
    go here: Adding Pictures
    to Your Posts
    .
  3. <!--[if !supportLists]-->
    <!--[endif]-->To Practice what you learn about entering
    messages and pictures, go here: Practicing and
    Experimenting Area

<!--[endif]-->

More details to follow. In the meantime, see the link below for the first experimental project, which is only a partial example.

A note about the Step by Step. The step by step feature is best suited for people who are in no hurry to get the job finished (because it’s a process of writing and taking pictures, posting back and forth, working through each step. I have a limited amount of time and work on it as I can.) If you want to get the job done quickly, this option would be frustrating. With that said, if you want to see if your project is workable, the first things to send me some pictures of the project 1. Before your start and/or 2. As it sits now.
